Sinochem (Shenyang) Advanced Materials Technology Co. Ltd (here after referred to as SMT), set up by Shenyang Research Institute of Chemical Industry (abbreviated as SYRICI), is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SYRICI. The business registration has been finished by Feb 1st 2016. The company has a registered capital of 147 million yuan, locates at Shenyang economic development area and occupies a floor area of 130 thousand ㎡. 

 

SMT is a Sinochem's test base for chemical engineering and pilot experiment. According to "high standard, high quality, high compliance, high speed" guiding ideology and centering the national 13th five-year plan's emerging industry direction of the advanced materials, the company's purpose is to accelerate the transformation from achievements to real productivity and to strengthen the combination of the technology and the economic society development. It will carry out several pilot scale studies of environmental friendly materials as top grade water base resin, special water based paint, water based structure adhesive etc., as well as advanced display materials, advanced carbon material. At the meantime, the company will build up development capacity which covers chemical technology of multi-specialty, multi-industry and multi-product, including chemical process system engineering research and development, dangerous process continuous operation technology, fluid mechanics research, reaction dynamics and process reinforcement study.

 

After the completion of the base, SMT will become the pilot-scale platform of SYRICI's own technology and relevant companies in Sinochem Group, external introduced technology pilot-scale amplification platform and regional service platform. The company will offer the pilot-scale research, equipment integration, couple technology, engineering technology consulting and service to SYRICI and relevant units of Sinochem Group. It will also resolve the difficult problems of the secondary development of the existing process technology and renovation tasks.
